Just like the Wildkat, this a deeply chambered mahogany body and an alder or "pine" top with F holes. But the wildkat body is biggeer, between the CST and the 335. The CST is as comfortable to play as a Stratoscaster type with a thiner neck, almost as wide as the Fender thing I am looking at my CST-24HB and it looks like the bottom and the sides are one piece, not parts glued together. I would assume the central block is part of this too. There is one visible line in the middle on both sides, making it a two piece body with a two piece top. I was also pleasantly surprised at finding it quite comfortable to hold, in spite of the wide bottom. It's nothing like a Les Paul, thinner and better balanced. The neck has a round profile, something I would call a C. Thickness is 21.3 mm at 1st fret and 23.5 mm at 12th. Not a thin neck, same dimensions as my Jazz Bass.

I think you have caught on a good idea for a new Harley Benton model: a 339. I also have tried hollowbody Epiphone Les Pauls which are really sweet, and I understand HB has not introduced any 'hollow body SC' model. HB has introduced very interesting Telecaster hollowbody models.
But meanwhile, what would you people recommend as an alternative, is the HB35 or HB 35Plus comparable with the Epiphone 339 Pro, which in my opinion is a phenomenal guitar? (The pickups and feel are really good).

I did wonder if the CST24HB may be close to an ES339 but I'd imagine the construction may be very different. Is the CST24HB more of a chambered routed out Thinline or more of a ES335 construction? Cst24 is more of a thinline, much closer to a solid body guitar
