Hi to all! This is my first thread on the forum, so be gentle! I recently moved to Germany and left my gear back in Croatia so I had to do something about it! And here it is! The guitar came about an hour ago and I wanted to share it with you guys since I didn't see a lot of pictures on the forum or for that matter anywhere online! A couple of things to note about the guitar... Either I'm incredibly lucky and got a prime specimen or HB upped their game a bit because by the looks of it, it's really nice and I don't hardly anything to complain on! It has a birth mark on the lower left section but I don't mind! And the only other thing I noticed was a little bit of red left over on the binding, nothing much! -Coil tap standard on the guitar!!! Even tough it doesn't say anything on the web page. -Frets all nice and level, no fret buzz -No glue or any other stuff left over on the fretboard -Fretboard is not as dark as I tought it was gonna be looks nice and doesn't stain the fingers but is a little dry, nothing a little lemon oil can't fix! - No scarf joint, one piece neck all the way EDIT: Due to poor lighting, me beeing as blind as I am excited and not looking carefully, it does have a scarf joint, but barelly visible! -One solid piece of mahagony for the body, I can't see any joints or other pieces! -I'm using a stupid little MS-2 for the time being so I can't comment on the sound right now but stays in tune and is playable... -comes with 10s as string gauge, I prefer 9 but it can stay with theese for now! For 188 €, wow... just wow... If you wan't any specific images of the guitar, let me know!

So, do HB's have 1mm veneer for the flame tops or do they have something more than that? I'm looking at the bottom cutout and from the angle that it's cut i looks like this thing has a 5mm maple cap on... is this possible or am I raising my hopes to high? Also a little banter about false advertising on behalf of Thomann and HB... There is NO Coil tap for Humbuckers, only Coil split... So the little marking around that knob is wrong...

1mm is far more than the truth.
On the HB I could check (L450+, L550 Paradise & CST24-HB) thats about a 2cm maple top and and a veneer that is 0.1mm or something like this. So if you happen to want to sand this uggly sick varnish on the top, be very carefull

Congrats on your guitar! Looks great, Thomann keeps surprising us making guitars at a ridiculous prize range, just amazing.
I was just looking at a red version of the MS-2, is it any good or just for the looks?

Due to musical differences I've decided I can't work with myself any more.

Beautiful guitar there!! How is the intonation seeing as this is a wrap around bridge? I'm really tempted to buy one of these but that bridge worries me and I don't want the Trem version!.

Beautiful guitar there!! How is the intonation seeing as this is a wrap around bridge? I'm really tempted to buy one of these but that bridge worries me and I don't want the Trem version!. The guitar stays in tune really well, and as far as I can hear, no intonation problems at all! I initially wanted the trem version but I watched EytscPi42's review and decided against it. And also it's cheaper! This wasn't actually my first choice at all, but the wife didn't like the ones I picked at first, she threatened that it can't go on the wall like the other cuzz she doesn't like the looks of them, so we made a compromise and I ordered this one... But I'll get to her eventually... The first choice was the TE-70 Rosewood Delux, and after that the TE-90QM Trans red...

When i watched eytschpis video where he gets the tremolo and how it works completely wrong and he said 'better get the non trem version' i hoped people wouldn't listen, that was really sad. Perfect trem and then you tell the audience its crap because you didnt informed yourself before. 😑 The trem version is so much Nicer! Its one of the best trems out there. Maybe next time you choose the trem. Watch at 0:18 what i say about the trem, please. Cheers

+1 This Wilkinson trem looks good, the more than il seems that the sustain block is massive (and hopefully made of steel). Anyway, looks way better than most Fender models. Just this weird thing about the place of the screw that is holding the arm. According to the CST24 model, this shouldn't be a reason to prefer the hard tail model. BUT, there is a fine balance that makes the choice difficult : - The trem version has a cute and efficient trem Whereas .... - The hardtail model has a killer sustain thanks to the wrap-around bridge, and perhaps a little bitter sound than trem my 2 cents

I've never actually been fond of guitars with trems so it's deff not a big deal for me. I usually play a les paul, so hardtails are what I'm acustomed to...

HNGD Love my CST-24T Lefty. Favorite of all my guitars. Mine was perfect out of the box. Stays in tune very well unless I use the trem. It could be an adjustment thing but I don't use it much anyway. Then again I only tried it a few times right after getting it. Might be better now that the guitar has acclimated to it's environment. I'll have to give it a check. Back of body pic please.
