To be truthful, GAS is a lot worse (for me at least) when I spend time without playing.
I have been so busy lately that I havent been able to play for more than 10 minutes in the last few months, which causes me to want to buy all kinds of instruments!

Super-P ? Bet your ass it is edit Saturday afternoon. Having only received the Super-P yesterday I just posted pictures.Today I spent playing it and what a time I've had It does P bass punch, MM burp and because David at Retrovibe suggested a mini toggle I also get Jazz growl (drool) The MM is wired single/series/parallel. This one is my 4th Retrovibe and I sure ain't disappointed. retrovibe.co.uk/index.html

I sincerely doubt they are, Delano's would cost almost as much as this bass does. Probably Chinese knock off's, nothing wrong with that, just a different brand and price range.

I very much doubt they are Delano's also, however, it is unusual to see those kind of pole pieces on cheap (older) pickups, or at least in my experience. Whatever they are, they look cool

Naw not Delano's,I just looked them up. $270 for the pair The MM is the same used in the other Retrovibe so imagine the P comes from same place. But where-ever that place is, they're clear and loud.Looking cool also helps

My Yamaha TRB-6P (two Magnetic Pickups and a Piezo one in the Bridge), which was my main bass for 19 years. Bought second-hand, it has its 25th Birthday next year!

Very nice, it looks like a bass that has been well used but not abused!

Being expensive (list was originally £1700 I think), I am very careful with it!

I've been somewhat remiss lately. A few days after the Retrovibe Super-P a fella in Cuper,Fife had a Peavey for sale. Off to the Kingdom I went, and opposite an old folks home I helped build an 84 Fury joined the clan With the mighty Super Ferrite pickup it's a hell of a bass. Then last night after work another Fury appeared, just down the road this time.Within 40 minutes of spotting it had joined the rest. May I present The 3 Furies

Finally made an overview of all my DIY builds, been wanting to do this for weeks. They have been scaled fairly close in proportion to each other.

Holy macaroni dude that is awesome man (drool) sweet mother of ... That is just jaw dropping! Are you selling those or showing at Musikmesse or Namm ? People should see these They are not for sale, I built them for the fun of building and to own instruments that just can not be bought. People do see them, I'm active on several forums and keep up a website with my DIY toys on it. It all started in the early 90's last century, in those days being left-handed and wanting something a bit more advanced than a P or J (clone) was a sort of idle hope, being fed up with this fact I just decided that what I can't buy I'll build myself. Never looked back and the result can be seen in this photo-compilation. Luckily a lot has changed since those days, there is a lot more diversity on the market nowadays and more often than not for a very acceptable price. The basses I build are so exclusive in design and configuration that even if they were available I couldn't afford them, I'm glad I can make them myself, as far as playing goes I'm not that critical and can get the same amount of fun from a cheap HB (or other brand) after having tweaked/tuned/customized it.
