Due to musical differences I've decided I can't work with myself any more.

Me too papache. Same method should work using the search facility. I say should because I frequently find windows 8.1 can't find files that I am actually staring at. Could it be that you did a double download so it now wants to know if you want to install a new over an old?

That's what I suspect and that the installation file is on the desktop but the executable is not.

Works like a charm for me. I used this site here for download the 32-bit version (although I have a 64-bit OS): sourceforge.net/projects/hydrogen/files/Hydrogen/0.9.7%20Binaries/After the installation the Hydrogen icon appeared in the Windows menu and under "All Programs" (with the folder "Hydrogen 0.97"). Did the installation finish ok on your computer?

Could it be that you did a double download so it now wants to know if you want to install a new over an old? Yes that's what's going on; new over old. But I deleted the first two so only one was left yet still it's asking about the new over old blah blah. Should I delete it all and then download again (this time making sure I do it only once)?

Lots of free drum tracks on youtube as well. You can import them into Reaper and change the tempo to your liking. Yes will try use that when practicing. When reaper is on I can't listen to anything else. For some reason it cuts audio on all other sources.
