I’m looking at a new amp this year & am going the tube head route with a 1 X 12 cab. Is there a reason to get this instead of a Bugera T5 with reverb, gain and a headphone output? Just wondering.

Thought as much DefJef, just thinking I was missing something. Cheers mate.

If its the older non-Infinium version then Reverb is not of much use (I have both versions). The phone out can be used for direct recording.

Due to musical differences I've decided I can't work with myself any more.

Cheers for the input lads. Getting rid of a couple of guitars, which will leave me with two which I play the most, and grabbing one.

It’s not easy DefJef but most were just ornaments. Out of 9 including Fender, Squier, Epiphone & Chibson, I’m keeping the ST62 & TE20 with a P90. Cheapest two out of the lot but my favourites. Her who must be obeyed is chuffed to bits that she can hoover the corners in rooms now

Some of those Joyo blocks sound good rtm but I’d be scared of choosing the wrong one. Too many variations for me. The Laney Cub 12R is ticking most of my boxes at the minute, I’m still between the Bugera and now that one. So many choices.

The VIVO and the Zombie are too high-gain for me even if I like the sound. That leaves 2, one which is the almost completely clean Bluejay (might get that one later but I doubt I'll need it) so that leaves the Meteor as the only one that fits the bill for me. But I still liked the gain structure of the HB Mighty 5th more, and wish I could use that instead.

Finally Henning gets to try one and he is not pulling any punches. Not very convincing for me either but I think sometimes we expect too much from a practice amp? Is it correct to call it a practice amp?
