It's in. First impression: Very well built and finished. No funny holes underneath the pickguard for the wiring!! On the right handed version there is a hole in the top for the wiring. Fretwork is almost perfect, absolutely no sharp fret ends and a fingerboard edge how I could have done it. Frets could do with a bit of polishing but for now they are okay. The only minor issue I can find is the spacing of the pickup pole pieces. It doesn't have any influence on the sound it just looks bad. String spacing on the bridge is 19 millimeters, which is the 4 string standard, so it's really the pickup that's off. Only gave it a short go plugged in, sounds as a single coil P should sound. Things to do: - Lower the nut, strings are way too high over the fingerboard, also do a complete set up. Out of the box the neck is set up nice and straight, the intonation on the A and D string needs some adjustment. - Put on flatwounds and adjust the action, this is too high for my liking now, this adjustment will be a combination of the lowering the nut and finetuning the bridge. - Change the rotation direction of the knobs to normal clockwise use. I hate it that manufacturers think that lefty's do everything in reverse. More pictures once the changes and set up are done.

That's a fine looking bass and I'm really glad there's no stupid hole where they run the pickup wire.
Congratulations

Looks great.
.
I'm with you on that! I mastered door handles and screwdrivers a long time ago. Righty guitar knobs present no challenge to me either!

I have got mine yesterday in the house. Is this a bass for €109 I’ve got a rehearsel yesterday evening and with our new song i plugged in the bass It sound very nice. What blabass said the bass needs a setup. The strings are to high. In the hole for the pickup are some little lacker isseus near the screws. The screws of the brighe goes very heavy. I am conna thry to put other screws in it. Later i put a photo in this tread. I am very happy with the pb-50
Blabass. Is it possible you can help me with the setup.

Lower the string tension by down tuning before adjusting the bridge saddles intonation or height.

ruthcod What do you want to know about setting up a bass? (stuur even een PB als je het in het Nederlands wilt doen)There is some minor paint damage on the inside of the pickup cavity on mine as well probably due to mounting the pickup screws, but for 109 euro I'm not complaining about that. @chedapapa In principal you are right however I (almost) never do any of these things and never experience any problems.

Chedapapa. I had lower the string tension but the screws are going very heavy. But the intonation is oke so that is fine
I played yesterday evening 2hours on the pb an it’s a lovely bass. Also the colour gives you a big smile on your face. I have never expected that a cheap bass can give you so much fun
For the akoestic sessions a am gonna use the PB-50 That’s for shure

I had lower the string tension but the screws are going very heavy. But the intonation is oke so that is fine. Intonation will go off if you change the string height. It's geometrical logic.
