This is also 'quirky'. ...and a bit stabby. It’s in case of a zombie stage invasion obviously.

While we are waiting for the amp to arrive. Here is the Vision JB-10. I dont know why but these natural finishes remind me awefully lot of toilet seats why is that? If fretwork is good and that is a Rosewood fretbaord I'd say go for it! You can always spray paint the body! That bass shape looks great!

Yes that is the same model as I saw in the pawn shop. In person it looked really nice to me. Not so mother-of-toilet-seat'ish but I am no expert Not so evident in the photo but the neck had a nice narrow profile. Be comfortable for those with little hands and short fingers. The overall vibe I was getting was positive. I was half tempted to make an offer but then I remembered I am terrible with bass and it would end up being unused after the initial first five minutes of fun period. Not easy leaving a pet shop without a puppy but there are times when we must be hard on ourselves. If the Vision budget guitars are equal in quality to what I saw, or my impression of it without picking it up, then could be worth considering maybe.

Tbh I'd not seen or heard of vision before. In the pawn and charity shops where I live they want nigh on rrp for guitars, some in not so good condition.

Yes there are some horrors in those places and like you say they can be over the top with their prices. I pay my price and if they do not like my offer I leave. Would not be the first time that I have been called back with the door half closed behind me.

The cash convertor type places appear to think you are either blind or a bit stupid. Well in and around this area I should say, tbh I've not looked in these shops when I have been in other parts of the country.

My experience is that there is little value to be had in Cash Convertor shops. Those guys pay rates, rent and wages and need to take a hefty margin. Of course one can be lucky and find a great deal but it's the exception rather than the rule.

Vincent might not be flush at the moment 🙄 And it's got a BumHugger pickup too.... Thanks salteedog I have just involuntarily spat my rather expensive cafe creme all over place. Busy now trying to look cool and in control. Must remember in future not to read the forum while in a coffee shop!
