Disclosures: Everything I don't like I can modify.

A tiny review: For those of you who are curious how these things work, I ordered me a set a few days ago to find out. They sound and behave identical to my Line 6 G10 Relay. Too bad that on some of my active basses it makes a fairly loud high pitched squealing noise (also identical to the G10). The set is going back for that reason, I had a small hope it would not do this but given it does I might as well continue with the G10. It's not a bad product just no improvement for my use, so if you are not using an active instrument it might be the wireless solution for you.

I've broken too many cables over the years and on several occasions also almost a few limbs due to stepping on cables, love my G10 wireless set.

I spent half the morning un-soldering, cutting and soldering back a jack that had gone bad, then I did the same with my oldest one that required the same treatment on both ends. I would pay for good, solid cables that never need this if I knew how to identify them but all I know is that cable price is often a feature to fool the gullible so I keep repairing cheap stuff.
That wireless stuff is way overpriced and I understand the batteries are integrated, so if you leave them unused for a year or two, you can throw the whole thing away. Rechargeable batteries last forever when not connected to anything. All they need is a recharge. Leave them in their appliance and they'll die of non use. I saw it happen many times with batteries that had been left in unused mobile phones. They could no longer be charged any more. Keep them outside and they'll be fine.

Only with some of my active (bass) preamps, with most it works okay.

Have a set of these for about a month now. On the lower channels, it's signal is causing a bit of an issue with my (somewhat older!) wifi router, but on channel 4 it's all working fine. There's no background buzz at all, unlike the cable I used prior. I had originally intended to buy a better cable, but tripping over it made me change my mind & give this a try. They're alright, I'd have to say... Battery life is estimated at some 6 hours & I guess I can confirm that: if the amp suddenly falls silent while playing, look down to spot a little red LED... There's no warning.
