A mate dropped this round tonight, he just paid £350 for it (with a case). Wants me to check it over and do some mods and set it up. Apart from stinking of cigarettes especially the case which I doused with fabreez and stuck it out on the patio for a couple of hours. It appears in very good condition, there is some worn laquer on the 5th and 6th frets. There are no divots it appears the previous owner bent the strings a lot on these frets and the finish has worn off. Have put up a couple of pictures will post more when I work on it and the lighting is better.

So these don't hold value any better than their competition, do they? How much is the equivalent of this new? Let's see: £529 at Andertons (cheapest model) + £109 for a Fender Case, or £59 for the cheapest they have. That's 55% of the all fender price, 59% with the cheap case. I call it a bargain, better than most Harley Benton in my experience (German ebay), which go for an average of 74% of their full price (including shipping since Thomann has it in their price). I have seen Squier Classic Vibe go for 62 to 70%.

It's a 2010 guitar I'm told LeoThunder, to be honest my initial thoughts were he had slightly overpaid for it. If it was not for that worn finish on the 5th and 6th fret it would be virtually mint condition.

Same price as this one from 2017. It seems one can lose money quick with those…

It has ceramic pups ttmax but cts pots whether they were swapped out after the original purchase or not I don't know? The saddles and tuners are fender branded and appear OK. Tbh I can't see a lot of difference from top of the range Squier's though.
