Im not happy with the light color of the jatoba fretboard of my CST-24T black cherry, i would prefer dark fretboard. Anyone else has this color? I want to return the guitar to Thomann for replacement.

I have an SC550 with a jatoba fretboard but it is darker than yours. Like most species of timber jatoba can vary in colour significantly. You could always apply a stain to it, may be easier if the guitar is good apart from colour of fretboad.

I didn't look it up, but the fretboard my be dry. The HB fretboard often are. You may want to try some fretboard oil. I use the Dunlop kind. It can make it look much darker. You can try it at your next string change.

Fretboards are meant to be dry. Putting some oil on it will make it look darker for two hours then it will be back to where it is now.
A replacement won't help, nor do I believe it would be granted. This is not a warranty case. They have switched to a lighter wood. Maybe it's just a batch but those they have to send now will be the same. Product pictures on the website are often different from the current version or the actual colour. They do not update them that often. The guitar can simply be returned. That's the point of the 14 day free return policy. If the guitar is nice, then applying something designed to tint it permanently is the solution.

Like most species of timber jatoba can vary in colour significantly. I like that. All my rosewood fingerboards have their own personality, which is something I appreciate but it is also a bit of a gamble. I buy my guitars used, though, so I always see what I get, except that one which was so covered in dirt I could hardly see the board at all In this case, I'll agree the light wood together with a "black cherry" that doesn't look very black is a different combination.

Return it and get a Fusion. That's the colour you want:

With this particular colour I would go for the maple neck. If you go for ebony, be aware that they are not all dark and can vary a lot, some of them coming with beautiful figuration, like this one:
Here's another beautiful example:

As LeoThunder says unless you are buying used it can be a gamble regarding fret board colour. Even maple has different shades and grain patterns. The colour of the fretboard has little consequence for me, I am more concerned with the feel and playability. To me if it has a nice colour or grain pattern is a bonus.

When I play bass, I find it a help to look at my plucking hand instead because I'm still working on the muting business. It only really gets fun on the fretless.
