The thinner new models are lighter. I would see it as a good thing. I love my Ibanez S and SA for this.

It means they do not keep track of them in a way that makes details traceable. That's part of how they are cheap.

Apologies as I haven't read through the whole thread so I'm not sure what the issue under consideration is.
But if it's relating to the DCR reading of the Roswell pickups, I do know that I was surprised to see that the reading from the pickups on my CST-24T did no match what was on the Rosswell site for HAFs. My neck read 8.5K DCR and Bridge 16.6K DCR. I now suspect the Roswell specs are incorrect.

I agree. They are very nice sounding pickups. A little brighter than my other humbuckers but that's good.
