This shows the colour code I assume is right for the Roswell LAF in my SC-450 Plus:

Why between black and bare there is a dcr of 9khom? Normally should be 0. Then if those are connect together and I measure dcr with green have cdr 17k. I don't know enough about pick-ups but I would assume that black and bare would not be connected by default when made. No point producing something with two connected wires. This is why schematics show an explicit connection of the bare wire to another outside of the pick-up. Now if you measure something that looks like one coil, then maybe red or white is connected to the bare, possibly not intentionaly. I have not checked that my colour code is correct, by the way. I don't know if it fits the indicated polarities.

No red and bare are separated (before jpg wrong now correct) Upgrade I open roswell humbucker check bare to sold firmly on metal chassis, then found two bobin North and sud both have two cable red and black. Each is manually tied to another four cable in this way North red becomes white black, green South red to red black to black I believe that this additional junction it could have been avoided, as build for example Epiphone. After this I measured again and have the same result except that now there is no resistance between black and bare. Remain the doubt remains because roswell declares 8 if each coil measures 8 instead of 4 and then because I have 4 bridge pickups that measure two 8 and two 16 while still being the same model, to find out I should open one of those that measures 8, but breaking something due to the precarious construction full of joints ... also roswell in black list now buy two Wilkinson and resolve problem with 30 euro. ibb.co/ZTpJ1bT epi ibb.co/6FzTcYT roswell

Do Roswell not do 2 versions of LAF pups? I thought they did an LAF Vintage and a Standard LAF. I'm sure when I got my SC550 they were listed as Vintage style LAF. I have not checked mine with a meter, they are definitely not as high output as my Epiphone LP's pups.
