The guitar is for quite nothing in this kind of over saturated sound. A wooden stick would make it as well given the amp and pups are up to your taste

I did another demo/test where I played it in a more conventional setting, blues/fusion/rock and a jazz setting.

I didnt understand either of those sentences. ) Me neither. I think what he tried to say was that the Harley Benton hb-35 is not meant for metal sounds. A least that is how I understood it. But I am not sure...

I read it as the opposite. I thought he was saying it doesn't matter what kind of guitar you use for this kind of over saturated sound. A wooden stick would make as good a noise as long as the amp and pickups were to your taste. Did I get that wrong? haha, now when I read it again, I agree with you, I think I also misunderstood it, heh. Well, I agree with the former posts, it was not so easy to understand his post.

Just to clarify: i didnt want to make fun of anyone, i really didnt understand. There were at least two more who found it hard to understand. No need to feel bad about it. Even when I thought understood, and tried to explain I was corrected and realized I too got it all wrong, lol.

That was precisely the implication in what oghkhood wrote as he wrote it hallon. With which I concur. An analogy might will a MXGP bike be suitable for MotoGP competition? I wasn't sure either whether your initial post was a question or a statement based upon it alone until given clarifying context later in the thread, and I'm neither comprehension or erudition challenged as good fortune would have it. It might be circumspect given the limitation of the written medium to take time give it some in future rather than reliance upon clairvoyance or supposition of the reader as to intent. Cheers m8.

Due to musical differences I've decided I can't work with myself any more.

Just to be clear, I didn't correct you hallon, only wrote my interpretation of what was written. You may have been right. We'll never know unless we get clarification.

Ok cool, so maybe I did understand it correctly the first time. Waiting for ohkghood to step in and reveal what he really meant.
