I like the transparent finish, so much nicer than a plain solid colour.

You know you could try the strings over the roller bar if the geometry allows. It makes for a very different feel which some folks prefer. Nice looker by the way. And yes they are a chunk! That's done and the bridge stays in place and while using the bigsby it goes less out of tune. Oh boy, the neck is sooo nice

After a week of having the guitar I am very positive. The guitar stays well in tune, the neck is smooth, the pickups are decent, the controls are good, frets not sharp but could have used some polish and the finish is better done than on my D'Angelico. Go figure.
I have done some minor tweaks: - running the chords over the bigsby instead of under. Helps tuning stability a lot a bridge stays nicely in place. - lowered the strings a bit to make it even more comfy - removed the ugly 'cheap' looking scratchguard - brought up the neck pickup closer to the strings
The guitar has a good sustain and the sound is full and warm. A real difference between neck and bridge pickups.
Overall I am very very happy with the guitar!

I'm glad that 'strings over the roller bar' worked for you. I like it too. Any rattle from the now unused roller or have you taken it off? The roller is still there since it is pretty silent. Biggest improvement is really the relief on the bridge and tuning stability!
