I bought a Harley Benton “BZ-4000 Deluxe” about a year ago off craigslist. I just wanted a neck through and at the price I paid didn’t expect much but when I got it I was blown away and learned they have a following behind them. It’s since become one of my favorite basses I own.
I’m looking to upgrade the stock soapbar pickups and was wondering which aftermarket ones would fit and if anybody on here has done this. From what I understand the pickups are passive and the 18v is just for the preamp is that correct? I have seen a few aftermarket pickups for sale online but they all seem to have only 2 screws and mine has 4 screws, one on each corner. Any help would be much appreciated!
