These are stunning. I'd want every one of them. Wow! Much better looking than that fat Harley Benton Dullahan model (yes, I know it's not a bass - it's still ugly). Corrective edit: nothing that has anything to do with dragons comes into my house so I don't want the first one. Still looks good.

I doubt it. It places the button in a stronger part of the body at full thickness, since the middle has been thinned out. It would likely cause issues there.

When I saw the new EHB, it immediately looked good, proportions felt right. When put together next to the HB headless guitar, the body width in relation to the length of the instrument is similar to a much "thinner" redesign. Of course, this is a longer 34" bass and its body is nearly as wide as that of the original Harley Benton. Here it is visualised:
