I just got the word from UPS that it just passed through Customs to the US. I am brand new to the guitar. So I need lessons on beginner chords. Any suggestions for online lessons or other ways of learning the guitar would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Tim from AZ

I re-started with Justin a couple of years ago. I think he's very good at showing all the little details of getting to use the instrument. I like my CST-24HB too.

fretjams.com is fantastic. Justinguitar.com is very popular site as well. Can't go wrong with any of these. The key is to practice.

Hey, everyone! I also new to it, and now, when I have plenty of free time, I'm thinking about taking online guitar lessons. Thanks for the recommendation of online lessons, I'll it soon, but first I need to order a guitar. I don't know why haven't I done it before, but it's great that online shops work without any problems. I found an excellent and informative review, where is the best electric guitar under 500 dollars, and you can check site to see it. I've never had a guitar of my own, and no one from the people I know plays guitar so that I will ask for a little help here. I've already read all the characteristics and choose two guitars I like the most. It's Yamaha Revstar RS420 Electic Guitar and Epiphone G-400 Pro. Does someone is familiar with those two, or can say which guitar is suitable for a beginner? Thanks in advance.

Does someone is familiar with those two, or can say which guitar is suitable for a beginner? There are no beginner guitars. There are playable guitars, suitable to anyone, and others, suitable to no one. In most cases, set-up makes guitars easier to play.

Now it's up to you to choose and since you may have mentioned two guitars both with humbuckets … To be honest, when I got my first guitar I had no idea what the difference was between single coils and humbuckers. Today I know these are distinct in that most humbuckers will never offer the clarity common single coils provide. Those which do are expensive special designs that people can buy from dedicated companies. The alternative to that is to have a coil split function which has become quite common even on cheap instruments.
