I use one by a spanish company, Bourbon Strap Guitar, it cost 50euro, but it's 10cm wide (apart from the adjustable bit), leather and really well-padded. Expensive, I know, but I have some back/shoulder muscle damage so it's worth it to me.

Deke If you're passing the house text first and you can borrow the Thomann padded one for a few days or the 3" one I got from Clydebank. I'd also suggest putting some weight on that Skelf-life frame of yours KB Good shout on the pad Che. Worth adding to any future Thomann orders.

I've tried something very similar to that pad Che mentioned. I found it ok as a temporary solution, once I'd stitched it in place on my strap so it didn't keep moving. I just thought it looked 'unprofessional'.

That would be cool and we will need to get a wee get together soon . The chromes arrive tomorrow and I had a good play earlier . Some Cream , Queen , a bit Maiden , QOTSA and Ace of spades all executed roughly ;-) . Im really getting into it and must admit that the guitars havent left their cases in weeks . I might just get that one the wee guy had in town , support local business and all that . It was 100mm wide soft leather and neoprene and looked awesome . The more I play the more I want a strap on her as shes fairly head heavy .
