Due to musical differences I've decided I can't work with myself any more.

I just tried the EADGCF and it feels strange will try the DADGAD or maybe I could tune them like your user name d.e.f.j.e.f (how do I get the J ) To be fair, you did choose the tricky one! The jazzers 'all the fourths' set up. It's best used for barre chords because most of the open strings are dissonant so basic open chords are hard to make. Mind you, if I retrained my brain to use it I'd no longer have that bass problem I was having! To tune to DEFJEF you do the following: Imagine a strat's tuning pegs all in a row with bits of string sticking out of each one. Now, counting from the one nearest the nut the strings go thus: 1. D 2. E 3. F 4. JOINT 5. E 6. FOR****SAKEIDON'TCAREI'VEJUSTHADAJOINT. You're on your way.
