Fooling around with this tremolo for some hours this evening and I understand what you mean by leaving it permanently on @defjef , this is one hell of a nice effect to have in your chain.
I have seen a video mentioning there are two extra pots inside this ammon/Joyo/Harley Benton tremolo, one of which is for controlling the output volume, maybe a nice mod to move it to the outside?
Found it again.
Somewhere around 7.5 minutes.

Good find blablas. I was reading several reviews of these pedals. Some people complaining that they REDUCE your signal, others that they INCREASE your signal. I'm guessing that they are either not comparing their signal levels with the intensity dialled in at the same levels or else the trim pots have not been equally set. A mod to the outside could be a very sweet thing though I'm not sure what you could fit into those cross head slots that would stay in position. I guess you could use those Mega Bloks wheel axles and have them poking out through drilled holes but I wouldn't want too much dust getting inside. Any other ideas?

Remove the pot on the print and wire the connections to a third pot/knob mounted somewhere else in the housing?

I'm not going there, no need for it, I never use the volume on my instruments maxed out and have room there for these small adjustments.
