Wow marit. Are you on a mission to get copies of all Neil's guitars? I believe he has loads. How about a version of the Gibson Flying V he plays on Time fades Away? It's much thinner sounding that his usual tone. Or the Tele/Broadcaster that he plays all over 'Tonight's the Night' - which sounds really terrific.

Haha well on a mission to get his most common models. I have looked into the Flying V and the Telecaster but Harley Benton don't make 'em like that.

In fairness I've considered turning my L-400 into my version of 'Old Black' too, given my all time favourite song to noodle to is 'Cortez the Killer'. BTW - I recommend the Joyo American pedal as a reasonably cheap way to get close to the overdriven Fender Tweed sound that Neil uses.

American Sound pedal, Tokai Tweed copy amp, Shine ES335 and Powderfinger on the HiFi - bliss...and noisy.

I followed discussions on how HB and Joyo are the same with different labels? Thanks for the advice! Is the L-400 what is now the SC-400?

Nice one but a little bit outside my budget atm. Actually looks pretty similar to the HB with the square inlays. The bridge does look like the current Taylor once tho. Neil's has a very typical bridge shape of the old Taylor models.

The "L" series tried to look like Gibson then the big G probably complained to Thomann and they changed the shape from big G to big ESP

@defjef: nice one, but with shipping costs it's about as much as with Thomann. Would there be any difference other than the name tag?
@che: ha nice one, I noticed that the older 'Gibson' models have a different headstock shape, the current one is a bit odd.

They all seem to be the same thing marit. Harley Benton, Joyo, Ammoon and Kinsman, but all at wildly different prices. I'm close to pulling the the trigger on an Ammoon tremolo that is suspiciously yellow.

(HB rebrand Joyos but they are identical) Every home should have one! Great as a bass pedal too. The SC400 is the new version of the L400. Not as fancy or nice as the SC450 but a decent guitar all the same. I've got one a black L-400 and I must say the satin finish is great. Functional but elegant in its own way.

My other Neil go-to tunes are 'Cowgirl in the Sand' and 'Albuquerque'. 'Roll another Number' is great too for that stoned out country vibe. I did tell you before that I liked minor key downbeat stuff
