I can see that the Cabronita Tel looks fine - if a bit naked - but the Jaguar version the Gato Gordo? No. The lines of that poky pickguard are all wrong. It looks like the guy with the bandsaw got lost. or had a seizure or was trying to do an HB35 one and got it even MORE wrong.

How can you get more wrong than an HB35 guard? Seriously, I like it.

How can you get more wrong than an HB35 guard? Seriously, I like it. That's what we all thought but here we have it. It goes up and right and up again and then a bit curved but not very nicely. It's as though the sat nav is trying to find it's way home through a road closure (probably another flippin' road race).

For me is more like; How can folks play with just a bridge pup seriously! I tried it once but missed the neck pup so much.

I think it's the vintage mod tele, the 4 knob one with a black pick guard that's more hideous than this one. Looks vile in white body but good in black body, to me anyway. papache, I've got an SG Junior, played for the last 4 years as my only guitar, funny now though I use necks more than bridge. I must be getting old.

Those vintage mod tele pickups are gorgeous though john . You're right about that bridge pup only papache . I expect this uses the 'grease bucket' circuit to knock those trebles back but this guitar seems a huge step back from an actual Jaguar in terms of tone choice. There's something so much richer about the neck pup on single coils but I can see a case for bridge on a 'bucker one.
