Im seriously considering to buy one of the new Hotone nano amps after listening to them on Youtube. Scary good tone coming out of these cigarette box size amps. linkI am also planning to get either the Hotone nano cabinet or the Randall RG8 35 watt cabinet (and later place a Celestion inside). What Im not decided about is which amp to get I really like the Heart Attack (Mesaboogie style) for its high gain but sometimes its just good to have some clean tones ... The Purple Wind is Marshall style, British Invasion is Vox style and Mojo Diamond is Fender style. These 3 have cleaner tones but lack high gain big time. What I could do is get a high gain booster distortion Hotone pedal later which sounds killer. Does anyone have any experience with these "little" huge sounding 5 watt amp heads? All tips and suggestions welcome! I play everything from picking clean-delay to distorted heavy riffing, mostly my own jiggeling fiddling.

I could never work out if it was "hot-one" or "ho-tone", but after seeing a few videos, it turned out to be the latter (strange choice for a name, unless you are Snoop Dogg ) I haven't heard the guitar version (only a few reviews on the bass version) but I was tempted to get one just for when recording guitar, however I don't record enough guitar to warrant owning one (especially when I have my brothers Marshall sitting around doing nothing). Make sure to give us an in depth review if you do pull the trigger.

Captain from the Andertons shop in UK made a video on the music messa 2015 in Hotone booth and he said it was Hot One because he to wondered about the name but most people call it ho tone including myself.
Back to the topic;
What I wonder most is which one is better for distorted metal sound Vox or Marshall? Of course I will use a boosted distortion pedal.

This Chinese guy demonstrates all 3 except the Mojo one. I think I will go with the British Invasion (VOX) and then add the distortion pedal to it because that one can still play cleanish sounds ok. The Heart Attack is for heavy stuff only.

Just got the Purple Wind. Lots of Hummmmm. Read a review (too late) that also complained about the buzz. Good Luck!
