We'll never know, but the image and specs on the website aren't what you get...that's the annoying part.Sure I could send it back but for 120€ I'll keep it for eventual modding(as I've done on many Squier bullets). As i wrote before I'm extremely happy with the neck and sound anyway, but given that a google search sent me to this page I'd like to help out anyone who's thinking of buying one of these, that is ,it's not the same as the advertised model on thomann's website.Have a great night all!

And those who will modding anyway why so dissapointed? its a new logo and new design that is and it is just great. If modding, I wonder whether we'll need a neck or bridge sized pickup. The silly slant appears to be because they have used too long a pickup in the neck position. But then if we get two bridge ones one will not be RWRP to the other. So maybe a bridge and middle if they are same size. Or chuck out the pickguard again and start from stratch? I hate the new logo so that would be up for a sanding too. Or a spray over whole headstock and do the body in the same colour. Hell all this because they can't get the right sized pickup in. I've got enough trouble getting my LP Jr lacquer to dry to get into this one. Thank goodness I bought mine before they improved the design.

Since purchasing mine I've noticed Thomann have reduced the price on this guitar,if only by 1euro but maybe an admission to error?I'm loving my 450 vintage now, much better than my epiphone SG400 though not perfect of course!

gtgeorge Could you please measure if the length is really different for the two pickups?

In France, when you're giving way too much attention to trivial details, we say " tu encules les mouches "
trad : " you are ****ing the flies "
