I gave it a quick run through the Laney and pedals earlier and was very happy.

Didn’t have a chance to plug it in today but was playing it unplugged, it’s very resonant, trem is perhaps too stiff, might have a little play with that. Hard to describe the neck shape, but it’s really playable, really smooth finish on the neck too. Frets are quite narrow but the height is fine.

I think that they only had the St. Vincent and the Ibanez in store. I would probably have tried the Warhawk if it had been in store, but really the others were just too much more and I didn’t fancy hanging around in Anderton’s for an hour, if it hadn’t been absolutely ****ing it down I could have headed into Guildford and waited. But really I was just so impressed with the St.V the Warhawk would have to have been really incredible to justify the extra £100.

I know, I have no idea why it’s so expensive but it’s lovely.
