It does and it's there Djangle. Thanks for that. I was expecting to have to delve inside the back to get at one. This one makes far more sense. So pleased to find that. I've been Googling for hours!

Congrats! Looks ... very sunbursty No more split buckers for me, like saltee I find them sound too anemic and that drop in volume is boy oh boy annoying!

Which knobs don't you like on yours blablas ? I like the chickenhead I absolutely don't like the chickenhead, to my eyes it's a abomination, I also don't like the Strat style knobs with the text what they are supposed to be doing on them, I'm more into plain and simple knobs.

There you go. It takes all types. I'd put chickenheads everywhere, even on chickens.

Offset bodies don't like standing up! They like to slide off sofas. They really need looking after!
What I like about the splittable humbuckers on these IS the choice of volume. It's not a marked difference but it's there and as I don't tend to like humbuckers unless the vol is backed off it all works out very well for me. That ATN circuit drops the humbucker volume nicely and I've been quite impressed with the Boss pedal's single coil emulation when playing humbuckers into it.
Plus these don't sound like the single coils I have on my other guitars except the P90 Thinline tele so I'm likely to try using it at our next gig later in the month once I've gone over it with a fine toothed comb.

Unable to find any info about these pickups on even the Entwistle website, I messaged both Entwistle and Revelation. There was message from both of them this morning. Revelation say, "The Entwistle Pickups H90 have Alnico magnets, they have a medium output, they feature 4 core wiring. Which is a bit like a hot PAF, but with more top end." Entwistle say, "They are coming soon from us for general use- but were first only available installed in Revelation (lots of models are done this way). It is possible to have with different magnet options, but I believe with your model it is Alnico magnets. I believe they may be switching to Neodymium in future. DCR would 9K Neck, 12.5K Bridge. Hope this helps."
How very helpful everyone is being.

Found a couple of really handy almost acoustic guitar sounding, clean sounds using the ATN tone control and dropping the volume. Adjusting the tone control a tad seems to scoop the middle and creates a very useable acoustic sound for live work. Not sure how quickly I could get from that to full on electric and I might need to put my boost pedal in the chain to get volume levels equaled up a bit but it's worth a try. I guess it would be handy for setting up a looped acoustic section. And these humbuckers are the nicest I've ever used for my sounds which are not heavy rock. It'll be interesting to see how they would have handled that little solo in Last Dance for the Wicked that my Shine ES335 did. So far there seems to be a baffling array of usable sounds and I can't stop switching everything! I hope I eventually calm down and remember where all my favourite ones are.

And I can't work out why I am able to chord better on this than before. I assumed it must have wider spacing at the nut but, whilst it is a bit wider than my Pacifica (35mm vs 34mm) it seems pretty close to my Squier strat (something like 34.8mm!) yet feels different. Can 0.2mm really make a difference?

Any idea what the radius is? I find vintage radius (7.25mm) very hard to deal with and I don’t particularly have sausage fingers.

I've never measured a radius in my life but I do have a set of free gauges. I'll see if I can find them and try them out for you MartinB.

I've got to ask though, why do manufacturers insist on mother of plastic block inlays on fingerboards? Once again I am feeling stuttery finger slides as I bend a string on a block marker. The rosewood has no such restrictions.
Block markers seem to serve no function whatsoever so anything decorative ought to cause no detrimental effect. In my experience this is not the case with block markers. My Aria Les Paul has them and my mate's Shine ES335 does and both seem to grab the tip of my finger. Not good. Does anyone know of any treatment to block markers for this? I swore I'd never play another. Perhaps real mother of pearl doesn't do this (although I doubt it)?

I'm wondering whether covering them with those 0.07mm stick on ones would help. How do they feel? More slidey than mother of plastic surely? But how resilient are they and will they drive me mad in a different way?
