So I tried to attach a strap to it, but the screws doesn't seem to get in place in the body of the guitar. When I want to screw it in, it just keeps turning infinitely. What should I do?

I swapped the jack socket on mine to the telecaster position in order to use the hole vacated for an onboard active overdrive. In the end I decided a pedal was more flexible so now have a redundant hole. Anyone got any creative ideas for what it could be used for? I wondered about a parallel/series or phase switch but am I missing something else more spectacular? what about one of those vari-caps that the early ES335s used to have. Or even just a master volume. Personally I'd move the jack back to the front....it's one reason I like the SG as a 'couch' guitar.

@bendricks which strap button? If it's the heel one I'd see it as a blessing and move it to the top horn like Tony Iommi's...and mine. salteedog I think the Revelation's switch is a similar idea to the Varitone. It does give some interesting tones. Master volume could be a good idea. It's handy having the socket out of the way. So many times I've found the Bigsby arm the wrong side of a 'front out' jack! Yes, I have an L shaped one but I stick that in the edge socket anyway! I really don't like 'em sticking straight out of the front for some reason. Every guitar should use a strat boat socket really.

@defjef both strap buttons I'll try the matchstick superglue thing, and redrill it on the top horn

So I want to change the pickups in this guitar, I don't they are the original pickups, plus they distort too quickly for my taste. I usually buy my pickups from Vanson's shop in ebay, but they don't ship to Morocco anymore for some reason.. Do you guys know any other shops that sell good humbuckers and ship worldwide? Also since this is a three pickup guitar, what kind of humbucker i should put in the middle?

You are just like me used to single coil guitars it seems Before you change those pickups look for cheaper solutions! Get a ,22nf capacitor to brighten the tone. Set up your amp diferently than you would with a low output strat. Set the Gain low also set the guitar tone lower (hence 22 cap as tone roll of will muddy the tone). I say keep those pups and work around the capacitor, amp setting and get yourself an EQ pedal to dial in clear frequencies.

"Vintage" output humbuckers are what seem to do the job for me, I find that I don't like the medium or high output ones at all. Mini humbuckers and wide range humbuckers are even better, but can start to get a lot pricier to get hold of.
The only ones I can see that are cheap have no reviews though and I'm hesitant to recommend something that has no feedback.
