Don't like the clear pickguard and being able to see the wiring. Not my taste but one man's meat is another man's gravy.

Which one is that? I thought there was only a strat and a tele in paisley. Me too? ?
This one, but I realized that is 12 strings... What a mess, it was beautiful 'til I saw it.
Anyway, black/white pickguard on circuits, 6 strings and it'd be 10/10 would buy.
Edit: oops, Def Jef was faster.

Fusions/Dynamics look pretty darn awesome, but I have literally no idea why people call them metal.
HUMBUCKER DOES NOT EQUAL METAL, people!

I agree Banana . They look more like Pensa Suhrs. The type of instruments pro musicians would use perhaps for fusion jazz stuff. All rounder guitars for covers bands and so on. Highly versatile instruments with maybe a slightly sterile sound of their own. But that's just what the visuals say to me. Hence why they are called Fusion Pro, not Metal Pro or Dj0nt Pro

And at 300-400€ prices the "HB bang for the buck" factor is lost… I have to agree with this. Past the 300€ mark you start competing with low range regular Ibanez (not GIO), outside of the "bargain" territory. The "pro" features are there to win that fight but how relevant are they really? Locking tuners, stainless steel frets, roasted maple necks are things hobby players do not need. So yes, it is the "pro" series… I'm not the target audience, even though I really like the look. If these start selling to professionals, it's a winner. Hobby players, however, might soon reconsider and realise that they do not change strings every second day, will likely never wear out regular frets and probably won't play to penguins tonight and to monkeys tomorrow. Will the "pro" feeling be worth the extra price? The cheapest Ibanez with Floyd Rose takes 480€ so there is still a good margin to the 349€ HB Fusion HH. The first Ibanez SA, HSS with standard vibrato, demands 325€, which is closer to the 299€ HB Fusion HSH. I wonder what I would go for.

It's still quite likely than Fusion Pro will be a higher quality instrument than low end Ibanez. It's true that hobby players don't need those features, so they can go for 150 euro ST-70 or something like that.

Don't like the clear pickguard and being able to see the wiring. Not my taste but one man's meat is another man's gravy. Unless...this is a smuggler's HB like the Fender Custom Shop Smuggler's Tele: Good grief they must be getting short of different ways to package up a tele and sell it to us.

Sorry to those that like these things but that is truly awful! What on earth makes that visibly appealing? It belongs on TV shows like how it works. I really can't see the attraction, I would not buy or wish to play something that to me looks like a science workshop demonstration model.

This is a honest smuggler's guitar. In some countries, that's all you'll be allowed to play after you got caught.
