Is it time to chage the tubes?

Got the tubes today. Changed all at once. The strange sound is not there anymore when volume is turned down meaning those old 6L6 were producing it. They sure have more life in them and will be used in case the new ones need be changed.

The JJ power tubes had some initial "tick, tick" sound every second, like a clock. This stopped after about 15 min of playing. Probably being new , getting warmed up. This tick tick sound only there when volume is turned up so it must be from the power tubes

After playing with the new tubes for a while I've switched off the amp. Then after an hour switched it on and the amps noise level on high volume has reduced big time! (Self-bias after switching on-off-on maybe) These new tubes are much quieter now on high volume compared to the old ones.
Also the "tick tick" sound is no more.
