Seriously impressed with the new guitars from SubZero! They addressed the issue with arm cut and belly cut on their Teles with 2 humbuckers and on the Semi hollow Teles with P90's they made it easy to access the electrics from behind! They have one offset guitar with maple fretboard and one with a Bigsby style trem! All guitars come with Graphite nuts, Jumbo frets and most have Alder body! LINK to SubZero GuitarsNot sure how good Gear4Music is when it comes to international returns in case the guitar is a lemon? Im seriously considering to get the P90 Thinline style Tele and either the White Humbucker Tele or the Offset with Bigsby! (I know I know I knooooooooW I should not look into buying yet another guitar)

I could try out this one as its the cheapest model and if I dont like the pups I could swap those for a pair of Irongear P90's in bucker format! Add some 4 way toggle option later.

So gear4music changed their brand name guitars and are now branding them as subzero?
Everything I've heard re gear4music guitars is bad. My guitar teacher hates them and has taken great pleasure showing me faults and poor quality issues with the ones he has in for restringing and repair. I have a subzero 1x10 cab and can't fault it. I like it's sound and looks. It has no faults I can find. I've seen the Fazeley guitars (Can't remember who's house brand they are). Again not good reports on those. I wonder if those brands have forums as I can't find much on them.

They have been selling the Subzero brand for some time. Similar headstock shape to the Gear4music branded models, Strats and Teles etc. Have read some reviews of the Gear4music guitars before. None were very flattering.

If HB had a Tele with 2 x humbucker with a classic Tele boy and a thinline Tele with just one f-hole and access to the electronics form the back I would not be looking elsewhere. Bad reviews say you ... hm maybe I shall abort this mission!

Apparently they think you can't have enough house brands.

Apparently they think you can't have enough house brands. I think they are testing which Name appeals best to the public! Gear4Music certainly looks BAD! I love the Heartwood Guitars name and even Greg Bennett is kind of similar to Harley Benton Encore, Badger and SubZero are all bad names for a guitar brand.

Well as always with budget anything one's expectations should sit on a level field. There are bad reviews and there are bad reviewers perhaps. You are a handy lad so if a guitar just needs the usual tweaks for a setup then not so much of a problem. On the other hand they have a fourteen day return policy that includes the EU. If you choose to send one back and have used the Standard Delivery option it should be refunded. Not wishing to teach you how to suck eggs of course.
Just found myself watching one of their demos for this 35 watt amp. Nice tweed covered box with a 10" speaker, gain and spring reverb for just under 100 euros. Shipping would add 10 euro maybe. Sounded quite impressive in the virtual world.

They all look good in the photographs. That's often the problem. Yes, that one sounds interesting

As I said in earlier post I have the 1x10 cab (blue & cream). Its sort of retro styled, its well built and has a celestion 10/30. I was dubious but took a gamble and it was worth it. I've read reviews and the speaker/amp side of subzero seems to be good.
