Come to this point, faking it wouldn't be worth it. It's a veneer.

Come to this point, faking it wouldn't be worth it. It's a veneer. If faking it sells a product it is worth it. It can be a veneer with a photo applied. Nothing new here. And I am not saying that these Fusion models are definitely photo flames. The potential for photo flames could be huge. Newborns, family pets etc.

The TE-70RW has a top made of "artificial rosewood" which could mean photo flame! TThere is a Swedish review stating its a photo flame as that dude was drilling new holes for the other type of ferules and he exposed the woods! Pity really! That photo flame video was about a TE-20. Did I mention video anywhere mate I said a review. This one was written on Thomann by a Swedish guy under the ST-70RW

No photoflamme, but formica, though much thinner than the one seen on 70's kitchen tables

Looks like a rosewood telecaster to me.

I had one of these. Not a Telecaster, you can't sit on them.

I have a very cute partcaster mase of a TE52 body ans TE70 neck. The "rosewood" on the headstock is looking very acurately the same as this seat

All right, all right, time to come out. This is the kind of guitar I actually want. Just not the one in the video, it's way too expensive and I prefer that "Deep Esspresso Burst" variant. I want to play like this guy too. He's good. I think I'll keep an eye for something like this, some time:

I saw one in a shop recently, heavily worn. It made made think twice despite the job to so on it, but I had not the money for it. Nice resonant axe unplugged despite the rusted strings. Not the LPs only can sound ok with mahoganny

I was heavily tempted to get an AZ, just too expensive for my skill level. There will be affordable Standard models in due time. They might not have shiny frets or toasted necks but much of the rest will be present. If I get clear sounding pick-ups, the extended switching, the ergonomics and the design in a finish I like, I'll be just as happy. The only gripe I have is that they are a little too thick to my taste. I like the S and SA series better.
