What's dreadful about them? Is it just the funny look or something more functional? The RBs are still available.

I did not realise these are still offered for sale What I find dreadful is their 'funny look' and the overall build quality which I always found lacking. They can feel like toys. If I was rewarded with a fantastic sound then I could be more forgiving, but no. I did have a bass for a short time. And I have never held one that felt nice to play.

Hi! I don’t know how active this forum is, but i’ll give it a shot. I bought a second-hand Harley Benton guitar, and i’d like to know what model it might be. It has gone trough some modding. -Bridge pickup has been swapped to a DeArmond Filtertron-typenhumbucker -Neck pickup is a cream color P-90, i have no clue of this is a stock pickup or not. -A Bigsby-style tailpiece has been swapped to a weird vintage trem system. I have no idea what it is, but i guess it doesn’t really matter here. -Pickguard has been swapped for a LP-style pickguard, i think the guitar has had a bigger pickuard prior to that. The guitar looks somewhat like the HB BigTone. But it the body is not so deep. Not as thin as a 335, but it’s not as thick as a full sized jazzbox. It’s completely hollow. Inlays are much fancier than the inlays on the current BigTone. Headstock has a Epiphone-ish inlay, and the old(?) ”HB” inlay. The guitar has absolutely no stickers inside the body, or any serial numbers or other identifications besides the HB on he headstock. Tuners are small, golden ones. Pretty similar looking to the ones on Epi Casinos. I have no idea if the tuners are stock or not. I would love to put some pictures of the guitar, but i’m new to the forum, and i don’t know how to do that. EDIT: Here’s the picture. I hope the link works. ibb.co/yqRYP3s

I THINK that's only for moderators kb. For members it's the old, 'host it elsewhere then link to it using the insert image button at the top of your post'. See how that goes Molse. Upload your pic to an image host site and then insert the link. We're looking forward to seeing this Frankenguitar. I added a link to a photo.

I see it. What you can do is this. Right click on the photo. Copy the image URL. Click on the 'insert image' button above your post (it looks like a little landscape picture). Insert the URL. Post it. Lets's try with your image to see if it works... It does! Now then. What have we here?!

When i bought it, i tought it’s a BigTone, but it seems like it is not. Does anyone know anything about it?

If it was originally one of these then I'm surprised the P90 dog ear covers the humbucker's holes. I wouldn't rule out the possibility of Thomann producing different variants. These might not have been as modified as we assume.

It sure does look like a Wizard with some mods. Nice spot LeoThunder . No sign of holes from a humbucker near or under that P90, Molse ? And what sort of bridge do you have? It looks like a solid bar with no individual saddles in your pic, rather than a tun-o-matic. Interesting that some more folks are adding 'wrong' vibratos to hollow guitars. Nice find though. I wonder if they sold to the UK. Any connections I find to it seem to link through to central or eastern Europe.
