Has anyone had experiences with the HBO-850 Classic? It looks too affordable to be trustworthy and I wonder what the pick-up is. Piezo?

I never held a roundback. I guess it's one more of those ergonomic risks… At the price, I could get this new, though, so there is the return possibility. I like the Nashville Nylon a lot but it's a full solid body and I'd rather have something that can be played without an amp. Besides, it's going to be Les Paul heavy. The Nashville Steel is hollow, very light, but not very loud. And I'd rather have nylon strings with a broad neck. The black Nashville Nylon has real sound holes, if the pictures are to be trusted. I wish the product description were more detailed.

I suppose it should be easy to find something black and slide-resistant to stick on the right spots. Some sticking textile stripes. Not ideal but surely feasible. That sort of thing to apply with an iron: How heat resistant is this ABS?

It needs to be something self-adhesive, not too thick and easy to cut down. Dashboard mats look ok. I suppose some piece of rugged black jeans would be just fine. I would look in the trouser repair department for this.

It reminds me the patch that are usually sticked under the bottom of the stainless sinks .... to damp their vibrations ...I'll really can't be ovation-friendly.... and it's a pity as I was a fan of Marcel Dadi when I began guitar
Unhappily, the hollow Nashville BK is not rated as good as its solidbody counterpart ....

I haven't decided which one I'd like yet. I know where I tend to go but it's not completely settled. What do you guys like? (yes, the fourth one is another model - I like it too)

I can't remember how it sounds. I must say I didn't play that guitar I had for half an hour, I was just busy trying to get the strings away from its surface, then from the frets. It didn't work… I like the Nashville because it's a flame and because it's smaller and thinner.
Can I make steel strings sound like Nylon? Rolling off the high mids and keeping some of the treble gets me in that direction but I don't think four bands will get me there no matter what I do. I'd need an amplifier that can load a digital filter but I still wouldn't have any of what comes out of an acoustic guitar, so trying it on a Strat' is a waste of time.

I just recorded a piezo acoustic, squeak, squeak, squeak, every bloomin' shape change. Funny how memory works…
