Got me self a FAME Looper that apparently has Undo-Redo function (for the last overdub). Well, it does NOT have this function. It can only delete the entire loop or it can stop the loop and start it again. It can not delete the last overdub! Going back to Music Store! This was me shopping at Music Store for the first time and last time Lets see how they handle returns!

Most of those mini-loopers are a generic design. They are a bit fiddly.
If so it should work as follows.
Let say you have recorded a loop and then another one over it. Light is static green. Looper is playing back. To delete the last loop press down the footswitch and keep it pressed until the light goes back to static green (it'll go red->flashing green->static green). If you do the same thing again it will restore the deleted loop (There is no way to keep deleting loop layers..the only one you can delete is the last one).
Is the Fame one working differently? Maybe it doesn't have that last loop delete function at all.

The fame looper looks identical to my Harley Benton one. Note you cannot delete the last overdub when the playback is stopped. Deletion at that point deletes the complete loop.

Saltee I tried to do as you describe and nothing happens after the flusshing green - static green. The last overdub is still there. Its going back together with Sweet Baby and that'll be the last Music Store will ever see from me. Im a guy that believes in signs ... no reason trying for ages to go throuhg a wall, use the door instead. I think TC Ditto will get my money and certainly not via Music Store.

Wow Che, did Music Store upset you in some other way or just the looper? I am pretty sure that the board in the FAME is the same board used in the HB, the Rowin (or whatever it is called) the Donner and a few others. That means the functionality should be just like salteedog said. Is it possible you got a defective item?

Was thinking about this some more. When testing make sure you dont accidentally record a silent loop as the last overdub. If you do then it would behave exactly as yours did.

Strange really for me to use Music Store for the VERY FIRST time and get a Looper that is defective AND an amp that came with a tube shattered all over the amp cabinet and when I reported all they said was , with an anemic tone "we are very sorry for all this and we will arrange the return" THEN , oh boy now the best part STARTS! And THEN;
They send me a To-Do list; Print out the old Invoice and include it in the package! Print out a Return Form and fill it with all sorts of information which included me needing to chase my Customer number and still I couldn't find it anywhere, including to write down code numbers for each returned item, IBAN and BIC eventhough we already agreed to get the money back to my card (I need to log into my bank to find all this info and my internet is slow), Print out the post label to be attached to the box!
And whats even better I have to drive 20km to the nearest UPS point while with Thomann you just hand it over to ANY nearest post point (only 5 minutes away from me).
Thomann asks to only print out one label to attach on the box and sent it away. End of story!
Let me tell you folks, Thomann really is great and making things as problem free as possible!
Good bye Music Store! Im off now to hand this parcel to UPS to get it off my chest!!!

I found that review here (in german): www.delamar.de/test/fame-looper-testbericht/It says you can delete the last overdub by pressing the button for roughly 2 seconds. The deletion is indicated by flashing a led quickly. Just as salteedog explained. So I am really wondering what could be the issue. But it seems you have made a decision already.

I find them fiddly. It's hard to make sure you only press it once and not twice or to hold them down long enough and to try and do it on time. I'd never consider it for a live performance. But then again...I not a great dancer either.

I did just that many times and indeed the led will blink a few times but nothing happens. I have read one reviewer finding the way to fix this issue. Apparently FAME doesn't have that Firmware on their own site but he figured out that ROWIN makes the same pedal and went to ROWIN's site and downoloaded the Firmware and now the pedal works as it should. you know what ?! FAME and Music Store can go to Hell if they expect me to fix their issues! I much rather buy the TC Ditto!

Well, at least you don´t loose much on the J&D guitars anyway.
All of them that I had in my hands were inferior to HB.
But I never had any problems with them - everything was handled well like from Thomann. But living in Germany makes it probably less of a hassle.
