I was running a sim of this pedal earlier, very impressive sounds, lots of different tones. So I had a look at the price of a real one, £260! Apparently it’s one of if not the best at what it does but that’s eye watering.
I’m tempted to have a pop at soldering my own pedals at this rate, despite being a crap guitarist I lust after A list gear.

It’s more than two of my guitars pre modding.

Not after splashing out on the M-1000HT Koa, I think I will be killed if I buy any type of guitar kit. I could stretch to a cheap (like £40) pedal but it doesn’t seem worth it with the pedal emulation I have.

Yeah I suppose you are right MartinB, I keep looking at stuff and thinking I can't buy anything else for a while. I was thinking if I got a kit guitar Herself wouldn't see it as a guitar until it was built and too late. 😉 I think winter is at fault for GAS, stuck indoors looking at guitar stuff.

Yeah, you just reminded me didnt you recently sell all your awesome stomp boxes as you now believe more in some VST stuff or else? Its all cool with moddeling stuff and VSTs etc ... but let me tell you, they simply dont have all the mojo that comes with a stomp box of your liking and stomping the heck out of it Same with valve amps, sure maybe they are as reliable as an icecream on a sunny day but hey I would rather risk having my icecream melt away in my hands than lick on a plastic emulating an icecream I say get rid of those VST dotted notes and slide back into the dark world of analog-blazing notes of doom

@chedepapa I kept my amp and 4 dirt boxes, cheapo reverb and M5.
I have one set of stuff on my PC and keep my MS-60 downstairs, the amp and pedals are usually in my room and I also have an iRig interface thing that uses my phone, it’s pretty good for headphones when I need to be quiet, or I can plug it into my HiFi.
I wish I had kept my original MXR Carbon Copy but there you go, I miss the ease of use of pedals. The iRig stuff sounds a lot better than the M5, no idea how accurate it is compared to what it models though.

I'm tired of looking at guitar stuff and even listening to them. Need a break. Think I'll go for Russian monastic chants for a while...in a darkened room...with a gin... Awww good call my friend, what a great idea! I have only Tequila but that'll do Cheers! These lads are good;
