I see a few on the 2nd hand market and they cost around 400-450 Euros. I like the idea of the 4x10" but even the Deluxe 1x12" seems nice. They can be loud at home but plug a volume pedal into the send-retun FX loop and there you have a MASTER volume.
I wonder if you have any experience with these amps? If they are better for pedal work than lets say Blues Jr which also cost the same on 2nd hand market.
Im kind of tired of trying to get an amp that sounds like Fender and rather get the actual one. Many dislike Hot Rods for some reason but Sean Lennon seems to love the Hot Rod DeVille, so it can't be that bad.

i have one of this first series for many years. back then these where amps which where cast in the mediocre range. as an example i bought mine second hand, and in that period everybody wanted a tweed one. and so did i, but when a tweed was offert in second hand, it was gone very fast. hence i found this blond one, which the original owner found very difficult to sell due to the demand for tweed ones. there for i bought this one for €250,00 and gotten to be very fond of the blond finish, as tweed gets dirty just by looking at it. as mentioned in many forums, it takes pedels very well. but is also as mentioned loud for its 40watts, in comparison my AC30 is timid in a manor of speaking. even after many, many hours of us its still in its original form, with its original speaker and tubes. it also had an enormous amount of head room, hence why it takes pedals very well
