First is sa460 second is sa260, 391euro vs 309euro Loock and tuner Justifying the difference? the sound should be the same ! Heart or Head ? Then I go for one I like the look of best.

The difference is in looks: quilted top, bindings, abalone dots on the 460QM. There is a SA 560QM with ebony fingerboard and DiMarzio pick-ups.

Note: the SA has more high end than its S equivalent. The single coils are "sharp". Listen to a recent one here:

I thought the new models would have the same pick-ups as last year's SA160 but they just changed from " Quantum" to " Resolution", whatever that means. Still, my old 2006 SA260 has that same sharpness with its "Axis" pick-ups, so I assume this is a character the model is meant to provide. It will probably sound quite different from the "Infinity R" in your GRX70. I quite like the funny "Aqua Blue" of the SA560. I would probably go for the other colours first but… I already have several guitars in this direction and I think I want to have something blue. Because I only have two… sapphire and ice blue. I quite like the new Harley Benton blue flame of the Fusion II, but I don't really want one.

I like Tom Quayle, by the way. I wish I could play like him but he tunes all in fourths and it throws me off when I watch him ;-(

Shame Ibanez looks so pointy and has aerodynamic looks of a racing car and the colors are always so painfully bright ... I like thier QC and would love if they are making some more traditional looking ST and TE style guitars. I know they have some but even they look like METAAAAAAALLLLL

I'm quite a fan of the Talman, roadcore and artcore lines Ibanez have. I like the look and the spec sheets look reasonable.

This sounds nice and clear to me, very much like my 2006 model (could use some toning down) and looks great:

Those are the ones I like too MartinB. I always hover around them if I'm scrolling through stuff.

LeoThunder Your ibanez have all 3 pickups quantum Series? Now single coil are resolution e humbucker is quantum. I don't understand if Ibanez Sa560 is an old model Yet in 2018 it was present now I don't seem to find it in the current ibanez web. I see on you tube demo and effectly di marzio have great sound like ebano keyboard and lo King machine but no a alone binding on body and neck de gustibus 😜 About hb. I prefer ibanez sa 260 for sound and graftmanship while hb blue color is good. I agree on the fixed of the ibanez to make metal rock guitars, but with the grx70 I changed my mind about it I hope the sa260 goes in the same direction even if it's hss and not hsh.

Your ibanez have all 3 pickups quantum Series? Only the S521. The S470 has Infinity pick-ups, the SA has Axis single coils and some "True Duo Bucker" with coil split at the bridge. The bass has… something. It sounds great to me.
