Somehow, I don't feel need to buy pedals, was never really into them, but guitars is another story.

It doesn't necessarily end but it can evolve into pedals...then amps....then plugins.....then microphones........then other instruments............ I refuse to buy pedals. I know they are, essentially, a treat people indulge in. If I needed something like a pedal board, i.e. a row of foot switches enabling me to engage effects, as opposed to select predefined sounds, I would get something like a VOX Tonelab EX:

I have a Boss ME70 mfx which I use live or at home whilst setting up live sounds. I just took a look at this and it looks great on paper. Just the kind of user interface I would want, with most of the Boss pedals and the required knobs to use them. I don't need one of these things, though. I haven't been looking at much lately. I seem to be perfectly happy playing the things I have, moving back and forth between them, between guitar and bass, still playing around with the nearly infinite possibilities of the Fender Mustang (amplifier). That 7-string thing gives me trouble. The neck is a little long and stretching is difficult, but I'll get around to it. Need to move the hand more…

Due to musical differences I've decided I can't work with myself any more.

I'm really quite excited by this. I really have regularly toyed with the idea of a Sub n Up, it may solve the several guitars or retune on stage issue that I currently have because of capo changing, I love what Trey Anastasio does with his during wilder workouts and I will get a harmony addition. Those separate drop tune and momentary buttons seem very helpful too. This review also helped to calm my nerves. I really do wonder if it's possible to match a mic signal to it for vocal harmony work. I must go and Google that. It all seems very creative. Having decided GAS was over I was also in the process of asking some online queations about a Hudson 12 string electro acoustic with case and strap for £45! last night when it sold under my nose. Absolutely serves me right for looking a gift horse in the mouth but, whilst beating myself up about it I had to remind myself that I actually didn't even need it! "The GAS is strong with this one" it seems.
