Due to musical differences I've decided I can't work with myself any more.

Tuners have a plastic cover and blue color is more dark fortunally. The switch, unlike the usual one, does not move vertically, but horizontally, for now what I don't like are the shape of the dots, not because they are ugly, but only because I expected them as in star-shaped photos. The sound is slightly higher than the cst-24 blk (same pickups) but sharper so that the push pull is useless. Excellent sustain just above that of solid body. I like the weight maybe a little light I continue to investigate as always thomann surprises, this time not in the construction but in the diversity of what it shows. However i think that price 225€ is to hight for this model (i pay 169€ in black color and 199 with p90 good sound) Plastic covers? Are you sure they are not just little circles of protective film? I'm sure they will be. Peel 'em off...ooooerr! I always think horizontally makes more sense because it means the toggle is facing the pickup it is referring to. However, If you don't like it or find it awkward you can rotate it a bit to suit your up 'n' down choice. It helps if you can get at the back of it mind you. Do you mean the blue is not as bright as in the photo? That's a shame. That's what turned my head.

I have Roswell pick-ups. I like a clear sound. I barely ever use my SC-450 Plus in standard position.
All pictures showing inlays were removed from the product page at Thomann and the description was edited to "Fretboard inlays: Mother-of-pearl dot". This happened quite some time ago, when the Charcoal model already had pictures of a Jatoba fingerboard with dot inlays.

I forgot neck is thinner than the other two Cst24 much more similar to that of the PRS se That's interesting. That of mine is 21.3 mm at 1st fret, 23.5 mm at 12th. I wonder if that has changed.

I measure the thickness of the neck, yes, from back to fingerboard, no frets. Shape also plays its role, of course. I like a flat neck more than a round one, D rather than C, I suppose, but… I don't care all that much actually. I've been fine with anything I had so far.

…for now what I don't like are the shape of the dots, not because they are ugly, but only because I expected them as in star-shaped photos. If the dots still bother you, why not cover them with something else? I am seriously considering this for my Wild Strat', either wich checker or dove decals, which Thomann offer for 8 to 10€: I would love to have a black headstock matching the pickguard too, but I don't know how to do it. Something like this:

Cory Mura's CST-24 HB (one of them, he had two) was 3.6 Kg and had a Rosewood fingerboard. I'm sure we have other happy owners here.

With a ruler I measured 11.5 cm between the f-holes, then I stuck my fingers in them until I felt the block, measured the length of finger that went in and subtracted. Not very accurate but if the weight difference comes from there, the block will have to be much smaller.
