Neck is dark (no maple) but I don't know Wich Wood encore use, while cover pickups are black n.b. Body is ( I suppose from web picture) like to my fender vintage white i am waiting the Encore is traveling
When change my std strat with noiseless (cream) I have a tortoise pickup for some time. Body is black and free is maple like first your pic, now is full black excerpt cover pickups (like d.g. style)
I think it looks best with the maple fretboard, which surprised me. This seems to happen when the scratchplate contains elements of both the fretboard and body colour. With the rosewood fretboard the scratchplate just looks dirty,
We are not the body and Vintage white and the pickups are black
The initial project was to use the Encore white Vintage with the zebra humbuckers is tortoise pickguard, then I discovered that Encore has single core housings so I decided to use them with the white hb st-20 and move its pickups to the encore changing maybe only the color of the pickguard, but I still don't know which one. Discarded the green mint for not having a twin strat I saw other colors but not all of them are applicable I think
1) to light 2.35kg hb st-20 is 2.60kg 2) pickups are ceramic 5.49 neck 5.89 midle 6.06 bridge 3) sound tone is neck 5 midle 4 (like neck) 6 bridge 4) hardware is typically Chinese pot are mini and branded cf really better to hb-st20 5) bridge is good and better hb-st20 6) tune machine is very cheap as hb-st20 7) freet are normal for guitar class
All in all it could be good for my project, but ... here's what I find !!! Immediately it was sent back, it is true that I paid from only 80 euros, but this is really a different toy from that of Wilkinson Design, perhaps in the Encore era but not the e6 blaster. Do you know the stagg ss50m ? Or Sx vintage 62 !
