And body size too. They sell the kit, for which they indicate the same 48 mm as the ones on ebay. They claim 22 frets but the picture shows 21. So there is definitely a difference between the kit and the assembled guitar, the latter being its own thing. A search on Telecaster body thickness return 1.75", not 2. There's an easy way to find out, of course

Laminated poplar looks like the most boring thing ever. I suppose some silly stickers would be required.

I contacted Rondo Music to see if they would be stocking them again they replied earlier to say they have them back in stock as of today which I found a bit strange being a Sunday. Postage to UK is $40 so that makes it a total cost of around £60 but there is no return policy outside of the US(makes sense really). Good to know the option is there to get one in the future.

Due to musical differences I've decided I can't work with myself any more.

Look what someone went and did! Where there's a will there's a way There is Djangle although it looks like a bit of a fistful of tuning pegs. I can't make out what tuners they must be using in those recessed holes. Banjo ones? I recently looked at banjo tuners and they seemed to have an awful ratio of something like 4:1

Yeah it seemed a bit steep to me Leo here's a paste of part of the email I was sent... "Yes as of Sunday am we have them. I believe a flat rate international USPS box runs just under $40 - UPS and Fedex are more." I could ask a favour of a US forum member to send it when I get round to it but have more need for an amp just now as I recently sold my Peavey Bandit.

I have no idea if they are banjo planetary tuners it's hard to tell.

I like the sound of a 12 string. Not sure I would be able to do much with one, though.

Browsing through the Gear4music site, I stumbled upon a B-stock of the natural Knoxville 12 String for £80. The regular one sells for £100. It is the last of the old model with a square neck heel: The rest looks identical:
