Never beeb into the 7 string thingy. The 6 string doesn't look bad for a superstrat. The LP Copy looks superb (but I like LP"s). The 7 string appears to be geared towards Heavy Metal? The LP says classic/vintage paf voiced. What are you looking for MartinB? I can see the quandary with the superstrats but the LP looks like the red herring out of the 3. The LP does have a lot of similarities with the Sc550 even down to the diamond thingy headstock inlay. I would suspect it has better electronics etc than the SC 550. It's what your really after MartinB a superstrat or an LP? I've no real experience with corts but @manxcat has a few I believe and rates them highly if I remember correctly.

The Etched has the best look. I would be quite tempted.

The etched is certainly the best looker, and quite possibly the best equipped with it's Fishman Fluence pups, it's also almost certainly the most expensive.
The LP style one is a nice LP style guitar and I have wanted an LP style for quite some time. I haven't had an LP in my hands apart from trying them out in shops.
The 7 string Baritone can obviously do the downtuned thing without having to down tune the entire guitar, I am quite a fan of Mastodon and for a lot of their songs they tune to B or even A.
I still have to decide what I really want I guess.

Yep MartinB it's the old what shall I get dilemma! My two bobs worth I'd go for what's got the potential to sound tonally different, to what I have. I've been looking at another LP with P90's but I've got that covered already. We all have different reasons and ideas, hopefully you make the right choice. 🤔

I still have to decide what I really want I guess. You really want a 27" scale 7-string with Fluence pick-ups. Get one I'll admit I find that matt grey thing a little too plain to my taste. It's ok if you just want an instrument.

Congratulations on the housing bid MartinB 👍 The tele looks a nice guitar I don't have one, so I can't give a constructive opinion on it but I do like the look of it. I have a 450GTP90 and love it but I'm biased towards LP's. There are pros and cons with the GT like any guitar. It's a heavy beast mine is just shy of 9 & 3/4lbs, while it doesn't bother me it may be a factor for others. Fit and finish is superb I can't fault it, the no name P90's are surprisingly good (both just over 9k). Again I prefer the 24 & 3/4 scale length others may not. In my opinion it's a very good guitar in both playability and sound. Good luck whatever you go for. Amendment Forgot to mention the 2 tone 2 volume set up, if you are familiar with how this set up works you have quite a varied range of tones.

I never plugged my 8-string into my Rumble. I wonder what I've been waiting for. Sunday morning present for the neighbourhood, I guess.

In my tenancy agreement it specifies no loud music at any time So it might be that I have to sell my Laney as even at 5W it's possibly too loud for such a residential area. While I would have previously put the money back into guitar related things I need housing related items now! I might just get a cheap HB, I suppose a bass is up for consideration too.

My little Fender amp has a headphone output and that suits me fine. It’s loud enough for the music shed and probably quiet enough for my new flat.

Save your money and buy a Gibson Les Paul custom for $10,000.
Just kidding.
I hate when people say that kind of thing. Yea, I want to wait 10 years to buy a guitar.
