Hmmm… That's all true. And they're very prone to nosedive as well... This is were body wood can make a difference. The basswood of the DC-580 is possibly lighter than the mahogany of the more expensive models. I never held any of them so cannot report anything. My R-458, which is basswood with a wide maple neck, dives too but I never really noticed it. The picking forearm keeps it flat.

Update: actually, I'm starting to like the offset body design of the HB. Looks pretty cool when rocking out.

I realigned both pictures to have a better match of bridge, nut and 22nd frets: There is a slight difference in the position of the bridge pick-up and quite possibly a difference in angle of the pictures themselves.

Cool, thanks guys. I see, the difference is not that radical when properly aligned.
I definitely want the HB version now!!
Only thing holding me back is the current Corona situation.
