As seen in this video, the Fusion II and Fusion T sound quite different on the bridge. Not so much on the neck.: Samples: 7:12 both PUs II, 7:28 both PUs T, 7:42 bridge II, 7:56 bridge T, 8:10 neck II, 8:20 split neck II, 8:39 neck T, 8:49 split neck T But why is that? They are allegedly the same Roswell LAF-B or N-CR AlNiCo-5 pick-ups, placed at the same spot on the scale length, yet the T has some of that "Telecaster quack". I know the spread in the electronics can cause audible differences in frequency response but this would apply to both pick-ups. Or do you hear such a difference on the neck too? The author of the video says he's paid attention to a similar set-up for both guitars, so pick-up height is not the difference here either. May we suspect that a more Telecaster-like voicing is being built in the T-type in spite of using the same name in the product description?
