I did a search but can only find this pedal mentioned in other threads.
I would like to know from someone who uses or has used this pedal. I read/watched various review and vids, I've seen it described as an over drive, an amp in a box etc.
I'd like to know if the voice control does go from blackface to tweed sounds? And if it does sound close to fenderish. I'm wary of yt vids and would like an honest opinion on how it sounds in the room so to speak.
Cheers in advance.

Thank you DefJef, I'm looking for a pedal to get Fender style country blues/rock and surf types of sounds. I know you need other effects for these styles but my gear consists predominantly of British/Marshall sounding stuff. I read it can be used as an amp, also a boost? I really just want to get Fender sort of tones would it be suitable for this? I'm really after a sort of Stax sound and a good surf sound. Am I barking up the wrong tree?

It would be into either a Joyo Bantamp or a Bugera BC15 the clean channel on both. I suppose I'd be using it to shape the tone? I have a reverb pedal and my 1X10 has a Celestion speaker.
I can get a sort of ok fender sound using my Zoom multi thingy. I would rather get a better fendery sound if possible? If you have any other suggestions you think my be better? Don't say buy a Fender amp. 😁

I've used the Joyo AC Tone straight into a Peavey Bandit and a Kustom Tube12 with very pleasing results. Using the voice and gain controls gets very good Vox Ac30 /15 tones so the Ameican Sound will get you in the ballpark for Fenderish tones blindwilly3fingers.

Yes DefJef tube pre amp ss power amp in both, its an 8" speaker in the Bugera and my 1X10 cab is a 10" celstion speaker. I'll pull the trigger then, just need to decide which brand? I suspect they are all the same Harly Benton, Joyo, Ammoon, Caline and Asmuse. They are all set out the same just different paint jobs.

As DefJef mentions it can be used in a few different ways.....direct to a PA system, direct to DI, or direct to a guitar amp and used just like a regular stomp box. I'm pretty hopeless with the techy stuff these pedals can do but the voice control is where you can shape the tone to be like say a tweed or blackface I think. I use it to get a Vox type clean tone or low low gain tone then use another gain pedal like a tube screamer for lead or distorted tones.

The Joyo Bantamp clean is very clean so pretty much what ever pedal you put through it defines the tone. The Klon clone is a nice transparent tone but I don't think it's sounds fenderish. My way of thinking was the AS pedal if voiced as is claimed would basically be the EQ as the Bantamp only has vol, tone and gain knobs. With the Bantamp on clean it's more or less just the volume when I use pedals if that makes sense. I should have bought the fender voiced Bantamp! The Bugera is similarly basic I don't use the dirt channel on either amp. I'm not much of a one for the techy stuff Djangle it bores me very quickly. 🙄 I was not sure if it was really more an amp in a box than a stomp box. I was hoping DefJef had used it as such on a non Fender amp and could say if it got into fenderish tones as a stomp box.

I can only speak for the ACtone but in simple terms it made my Bandit and Kustom tube12 (tube preamp SS power amp 8 inch Celestion) have the clean sparkle and chime (voice) of a Vox AC30. Obviously not 100% but close enough to the sound I was hoping for basically ....British Invasion tones like early Beatles and the Byrds and REM type tones.

I agree with you DefJef on you can't make it sound like something it's not. I'm not trying to emulate an overdriven Fender tweed or similar Fender amp. To get a Marshall sound I use pedals voiced to get into that ball park. All I wanted to know is will the AS purely as a stomp box do a reasonable Fender imitation. My reasons for wanting to clarify this were people were saying use it as a DI or as a boost, which was making think its not really a Fender sound clone.
