Hi there !
Was considering buying that guitar : Harley Benton CLG-650SM-CE Available in black or vintage sunburst.
Since it's not as cheap as usual for an HB acoustic guitar, i was asking myself if it's worth the investment ?
i'd like to know if some of you own that guitar and their overall feedback? or any infos or so? I've seen that the fingerboard is composite, which scares me a little.
Btw, sorry for my english since it's not my mother tongue.
Thanks !

It would be very interesting get to know what that guitar representing itself. I would order it already but I cut out 'cos of too narrow (42 mm) nut for me. I,m bit of suspicious about the sound.I had once the same size Taylor, didn't sound great. HB is the matter of luck, I suppose. I have CLF-200 which sounds gorgeous, like 1000€ guitar (I will never give it away for 1000), but my friend had the same guitar which has very crappy sound. There is one option, if it makes a disappointment to you send it back, it takes obviously a month to get back your money but anyway, nobody give to you a better conditions to test it. Take care.

Got it yesterday, the guitar is a lot more gorgeous than it already look like on the screens.
And it is flawless, most of the HB I received were in very clean condition, but this one is above. The only thing I had wish to be different is the thickness of the glossy varnish, but this varnish itself is flawless, and it is thin enough on the top to show the veins rather than cover it.
So a beautiful instrument.
The setup is perfect, with the lowest action I have ever seen on an accoustic guitar, without freezing problem. This, the body shape and the neck are making it very comfortable and easy to play. Add that the fret ends are smooth and the guitar was almost in tune at box opening. There is just left to get used to the string spacing that is narrower than my old Ibanez ( 52mm vs 55mm )
it sounds diferent compared to my dreadnought : less low end, less volume, but a superb balance with mediums, brilliance, and a lot of sustain
Summing up : a good deal

Grossly 2 monthes later, all I can do is confirm all the good feelings. The only thing that is bit lower is the tuner, not very acurate.
Overall, now that I am used to the diferent profile, I realize the incredibly richn and resonant sound the guitar can give in an y circumstances. Something that is missing to my older Ibanez AWG70, although at listening she is far from being ridiculous.
And neck and body are always making her the most confortable accoustic guitar I have ever played
