Hi So I'm looking for my first electro acoustic. So far I've only played an acoustic dreadnought, which always seemed a bit too large for my liking. Now I'm looking at this HB and seems perfect. It won't be available for a couple of months, so I still have time to chenge my mind. But for those who might have it (or one of those similar HBs) - would you say this is the best buy for this price. And also, how does it compare in size to a dreadnought? www.thomann.de/gb/harley_benton_custom_line_cla_16sce_bk.htm

I would recommend going to a local shop and testing out various acoustics.
From what I learned what fits ME best is:
* wider fingerboard (in my case 45mm - yes, those 3mm helped a lot) * Dreadnought too big for me - Auditorium is perfect (and I am 1,90m tall)
I found acoustics to be even more personal preference than any electric guitar.
I ended up with a Sigma GZCE-1+ (https://www.musicstore.de/de_DE/EUR/Sigma-Guitars-GZCE-1-/art-GIT0048729-000).
But the big takeaway was the feel is so important - the Dread felt alien to me - so certainly not a good start for beginner like me on an acoustic.

I,m the owner of the DLA-28, wonderful instrument, but it has different specs than CLA-16. These guitars got little bit unsteady quality, you may get amazing exemplar, but you may go under too quite easily. Most problems are tuning issues and fretwork. Probably you get a very good instrument for the price, they sounds almost perfect, but you have to count with some additional expenses to the luthier works. Happy picking.
