Does anyone know what pickups are shipped with the CST-24T kit?
They look like alnico magnets, the one with "J" printed on the back measures 10.4K and the one with "N" (neck?) measures 10.1K. I only ask because the N stamped pickup was supplied fitted to the larger surround ring which I think may be an error.
By the way the kit itself looks fantastic and I can't wait to get it put together after staining the body.
Thanks.

Dont know about the pickups, but I was watching a YouTube video today by Brent Hutchinson where he was putting together one of these, and the trem posts were too small for the drilled holes. He's going to have to plug the holes with dowel and redrill them. Is your one OK? He also had the jack socket wired the wrong way round, and one of the neck screw holes was stripped. I was thinking of getting one, but its put me off a bit.

I've not put mine together yet as I'm staining and oiling the body. All the parts look okay though, and the trem posts will fit fine in the pre-drilled holes. Electronics are also okay, but as I said, I'm not sure about the pickups, although I will probably end up replacing them.

because the N stamped pickup was supplied fitted to the larger surround ring Mine just arrived the same in 2022. I suspect the N/J are just model numbers. If it was N/B I'd be more concerned. The manual of course says nothing about it. There are Youtube tutorials on finding the resistance of your hum buckers to tell which position they should be in.

Both my pickups were 50mm pole spacing so the bridge one doesn't really align well with the strings. I did replace both, neck with a 50mm and bridge with a 52mm.
