How do you get sound out of your HB's? I have a couple of different size rigs, depending on the ocasion (and location ) I (nearly) always run through a Zoom B3, and when I am playing late at night, I just go straight into headphones. When I actually make noise, I use the following... Home practice and small Jams:This is a Gallien Krueger MB112 (200W 1x12" combo). For loud jams, practice with bands and live gigs:This is a Soundweb DSP into a Crest CA6 running an EAW SB150 (15" sub) + EAW JF60 (6" mids + 1.5" highs). I also run keyboard, loops and vocals through this rig when needed. And when I need to get really loud:I add an extra SB150, and swap the EAW JF60 for 2x Peaver PR10's (10" mids + 2" highs). Sorry, but I don't have a photo of this rig! So, what do you use?

No rig, I play mainly at home for my own fun and entertainment, so combo's are all I need. The most used and preferred ones: Bugera V22 Infinium SWR Workingman's 12 And if want something else I can also chose one of these: Roland Micro Cube Bass RX TC Electronic BG250 Orange CR50BXT One of my main combo's, the Bugera. Okay, it's meant as a guitar amp, but for living room volume it's perfect for bass as well. It's a real nice and affordable full tube amp, I love the subtle sound you can only get from tubes.

Down scaling home and working away most of the time mean there's only an Ashdown Tourbus 15 using a Bass Pod.
Sometimes though I just use the old Korg Pandora or a Vox Amplug V1.

I have a Line6 "LowDown LD15", 15w combo amp for practice at home. And a Behringer Ultrabass BXR1800H head going through an Aria Loco 1x15 cab for gigs. Oh, and I also have an old Pocket Rock-it that I plug headphones into when I want to play quietly.

For bedroom practice and noodling (with or without headphones)I use a 15W Laney Richter combo. For band rehearsals I am currently using an Ashdown EB 180 Evo ii combo which should also be plenty loud enough for pub gigs (not done any yet but building up to a summer debut with the band)but will probably get an extension cab just to make sure.

No rig for me (yet) I use a Behringer bass V-amp, where bass, headphones and laptop are plugged in. It's a great setup for practise.

Got all my frequently used combos stacked the way I want them to, they used to stand on two separate corners in my living room, wanted to do this for a long time but somehow never got it done, last week I finally thought out a way stack them in a way I like (visually and sound-wise). The other herd. Together with the latest 4 string member of the stringed herd.

Very nice blablas! I think that the day you post a photo of all your basses and amps together will cause a tsunami of bass players drool! (BTW, I just realized we don't have a drooling icon, must fix that!)

Yeah!! (yes) And to make the drooling session even more complete - add the audio/videophile toys in there as well. And also not forgetting the photo and computer equipment... and the (bass building/home improvement) tools... and... Lets not go there, I've good too much stuff stacked in my house! And I'm not even a hoarder, most of it is just there to get used and abused to entertain myself.

That's a stunning looking audio system, Blablas ! Did you make those speaker cabinets yourself?
Ohh, on-topic.
For home/small gig use, I have an Ampeg BA112 combo. For when I need to get louder, an Ampeg pf500 head running an old very heavy but very deep-sounding Ampeg BXT 1x15 cab.
I do have a few pedals; EHX Freeze, EHX Mole, EHX Micro-Pog, EHX Soul Preacher, EHX Clone Theory (maybe I should contact EHX for a discount), and a tuner which is surprisingly not made by EHX. That's a Korg Pitchblack.

That's a stunning looking audio system, Blablas ! Did you make those speaker cabinets yourself? They were developed, designed and build by a small company in my hometown. They were part of the first batch they made, I did help out a lot with taking part in testing sessions so in that perspective you could say I made them myself. I also assembled them myself to keep the costs at an acceptable level (and for the fun of making things). I did manufacture some small parts for them but these are not worth mentioning in the total package. The feet, which are not part of the cabinet, I did make myself. Unfortunately they only came as far as this first batch and never started serious production.

Sounds like a nice set up oddlyn. I actually sold the GK not long ago, and stopped using the 7 ton live rig, I am now happy with this:
