One guitar for the moment : Harley Benton SC-200 BK Student Series Black colour with two passive pickups (humbuckers). I have for the moment 24-80 string gauge on it for play in super-low tunings and it works very well !

80 is bass territory, the A string on most light gauge sets has this size.

Nice looking guitar man! Love the look of those pups. Are they active? No Theyre not active but have Super Ferrite magnets in them so can be very hot I also wired it to T-60 specs which means when the two tone controls are at 10 the pickup ia single coil and at 7 its humbucker, at about 8.5 you get a nice p-90 growl from them Also there is a push pull phase switch on the clear volume knob which gives the middle phased tone but also on the bridge pickup on single coil sounds more like a telecaster then pulled They are my favourite sounding pickup and with the versatility of the wiring its just unreal I also have them fitted to my 335
